Where to Pick Your Pumkins Near Blackpool

There's only a week left to find the perfect pumpkins, so here's a quick rundown of 3 of my go to patches around Blackpool!
It only seems right to start the top 3 off with the patch we visited!
1.

Prospect Farm,
By-Pass Road,
Garstang,
Preston,
PR3 0LP

Bradshaws is a 20-30 min drive from Blackpool, which makes it one of the closest. There was a huge choice of pumpkins, varying in colour, shape and size. The patch itself was huge with spooky Pumpkin Scarecrows leading the way to the best pumpkins.
It was an amazing patch for us as the path was alot more wheelchair friendly than some pumpkin patches we've visited. You need to ring or message to book your 1 hour slot. As of today I think it's fully booked but its definitely worth a punt to see if they've had any cancellations. Prices varied but the pumpkins are charged per kilo. We bought 7 pumpkins totaling around £20.
2.

No need to book if you're heading here! There's still plenty of pumpkins to pick from and apparently you can even find blue pumpkins too! Cash payments only!

I will say there was another one I wanted to mention. Windmill Animal Farm! We went here last year and it was fab! Even though the wheelchair didn't want to go down to the patch the boys had a great time! Last year we were able to just use the patch and pay for any pumpkins we picked. This year however they seem to be a bit more money hungry as you now have to purchase a ticket to the entire farm. Adults £14.95, Children £15.95 and Carers £13.95. Personally I feel this is a bit much and I couldn't find any option for just picking a pumpkin like we did last year.
There's definitely quite a few places to visit though for those perfect squashes. If you're still searching take a look on Facebook or Instagram and if all else fails, Asda have some really nice ones from only £1. Now I'm going to need a week to carve our 17 pumpkins! Somebody stop me!
